This October we had the privilege to photograph the Pugh family as they roamed Cades Cove. This natural wonder is where we love taking pictures of every moment in someone’s life and for the Pugh family this was no exception. Nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cades Cove gives us so many photo opportunities and we absolutely took advantage!

Crystal and Brian explored the streams and fields with their two kids, Mason and Elise. The family wore blue jeans while Elise’s floral print dress tied in the crimson Crystal and Mason were wearing. Brian’s brown quarter zip was the perfect complement the natural backdrop.

And as you can tell the kids definitely stole the show. From Elise’s sweet smile to Mason’s tenderness towards his sister, it’s hard to pick a favorite picture. In the stream one of our favorites was Mason splashing in the water and in the field one of our favorite pictures was Mason giving Elise a wildflower he picked from the field. How precious!

We obviously have too many favorites, but that’s definitely not a bad thing! This family was an absolutely joy to capture. Their love for each other jumps out of every picture.
