Reese {Bunnies 2019}

Sweet Reese was one of the very first people to meet Flopsy and Mopsy, our 2019 bunnies. The tan and white fuzz ball is Flopsy making the black and white cutie Mopsy. These two adorable babies will the stars of our next several posts so get ready for all of the cuteness!

In Reese’s precious basket wasn’t Easter eggs just yet but our sweet bunnies. She carried Flopsy and Mopsy all around the studio. Oh what adventures this trio could get into! We can only imagine the fun they would have together. The three truly bonded when Reese got on their level. Some of our favorites from this session were of Reese cuddle up on the floor with the bunnies.

As you can tell by her radiating smile, the feeling was absolutely mutual. Reese looked so cute in her navy and gold frock with gold shoes and tan bow to match. She smiled and laughed the entire session, but honestly who wouldn’t with Flopsy and Mopsy on Cuddle Patrol.

We hope you enjoy this sweet post! This time of year is so fun for us, seeing the kids interact with sweet Spring babies.

Little Miss Mackley {Baby’s First Year Program}

Here at Memories Portraits, we offer a very special package called the Baby’s First Year Program. Why? Well your baby will change more during the first year than any other time. We love documenting these beginning stages of their lives. Usually sessions are scheduled every three months or so. That way we can captured 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. We can also extend the program to where it ends at 18 months. Upon completion of the program you will receive a framed piece with one image of your baby from each of your sessions!

Below is sweet little Mackley throughout her Baby’s First Year Program. Keep scrolling to see them all!

3 Months

We put Mackley in a blue, cream, and gray bassinet complete with flowers. We then did diaper pictures with her sweet chevron baby blanket on one of our chairs. Then we warmed it up with rich colors, florals and fuzzy blankets. Finally we did a more formal white portrait. Even at this young age you can see her sweet and happy personality start to come out.

6 Months

At her 6 month session in August, Mackley wore the cutest pink dress with lace. As you can see she has already gotten bigger! So much so she leveled up a size in our wicker chair. After playing with soft blankets we moved into our blue background. Our blue fuzzy was perfect with her fabric tu-tu and pink floral dress.

9 Months

In December little Miss Mackley visited us for her 9 month session. We started in an adorable pink frock. She loved showing off her new trick…standing! We even did some holiday photos with some sparkling and metallic Christmas ornaments. The pink and blue ornaments matched her bright pink dress flawlessly!

12 Months

Happy 1st Birthday to Mackley! We celebrated with some more fun chairs, balloons and the absolute best part….cake! As you can see, she really got into her smash cake. Who knew that this little stinker’s smile could get any cuter?! Note to self: Just add icing.

We loved being a part of little Miss Mackley’s first year of her life! Seeing her grow and change so much was incredible to witness. Thank you for following along! We’re off to have a piece of cake..or two!

Alexander {6 months}

March 25, 2019

Mr. Alexander came to see us November of last year for his 6 month pictures, as a part of his Baby’s First Year program with us. Alexander was joined by Mom and brother, Grayson, for the first part of the session. One thing is absolutely clear these boys love their Momma so much. How incredibly sweet they are!

Alexander took over the shoot from then on with his sweet smile and grayish, blue eyes. This little cutie is going to be such a heart breaker! Isn’t he just the most precious thing?!

If being a baby model is tough, Alexander didn’t let it show for a minute. After rolling around on soft blankets, we played with our resident sock monkey laughing and smiling the whole time. These picture turned out so beautifully. We honestly can’t pick a favorite. Do you have one?

We ended the shoot with holiday inspired pictures and they were just so cute! From Alexander as the greatest Christmas gift ever to Alexander being clad in holiday cap and lots of multi-colored lights….We can only imagine the cute Christmas gifts these pictures made!

Alexander just came to see us last month for his 9 month pictures! Wow time is sure flying. We can’t wait to share those but until then scroll through the utter cuteness that is Alexander’s 6 month session pictures!

Milligan Family {Fall Mini}

Here’s a post in honor of a day without rain. We are day dreaming of warmer weather and fun outside shoots. How about you?

The Milligan family came to see us this last fall for an adorable family fall mini session. We got to walk all around with this sweet family and we love how the outdoor pictures turned out.

Mom, Dad, Tybee, Holston, Brinkley, and even grandma joined in on the fun. The individual shots of the kids really show off their sweet personalities. We just love them!

The leaves were in full display for the shoot and the family couldn’t have been dressed any more perfectly for the session. The girls matched from their turtle necks, floral skirts, tights, boots and all the way up to the hair bows. Mom and grandma wore sweater dresses and boots. While Dad and Holston wore collared, long sleeved shirts tucked into their jeans. Aren’t they all so cute?!

Between swinging the little Brinkley to tickle fights, we had such a fun time with this sweet family. We are so fortunate Sequoyah Hills is right down the road from our studio. Definitely one of the best places for outdoor photos in Knoxville, we don’t say so ourselves. Keep scrolling to see for yourself.

Enfran {Fall Mini}

February 26, 2019

This past fall the sweetest, little boy was brought in for a Fall Mini session. Mr. Enfran Li romped around with us all over the park near our studio in Sequoyah Hills. He was dressed in an adorable suit and tie. He was definitely one of the most dapper little men we’ve ever had the pleasure to photograph.

Enfran has the most infectious laughs and a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms. Keep scrolling to see for yourself. You won’t regret it!
