Just another evening {Knoxville Family Lifestyle Photography}

Real, unposed, unscripted, no hiding behind the door…well, except Graydon.  He’s the cutest door greeter and can hide behind that door anytime I have a camera.  I’ve been wanting to have a lifestyle session in a home for awhile now.  So when my best friend asked me to shoot her adorable family on the porch of her new home for a “We’ve Moved” announcement, I knew I had my foot in the door.  Yes, pun intended 😉  Watching Faun play trains with her son, breaking bread with them at the table, and sharing in the FUN of bathtime with the whole family was such a special shoot for me that filled my little creative heart to the fullest.  Not only was this such a special session to spur my creativity as their life unfolded, but it captured the sweetest everyday moments of this little family of three before the arrival of their newest addition, Hendrik.  If any of you are loyal blog followers you may have noticed that I’ve already announced that Hendrik was born with a behind the scenes video and blog post (feel free to click those links to check them out! 😉  )   Every night since they moved in, Faun would sit in their big comfy glider in Hendrik’s room and read several books with Graydon before bed.  Since Mr. Hendrik has joined them, now Graydon shares his glider with his little brother as he shows off his favorite books.  With a house full of this much love and laughter, how could these images not be gorgeous!

Karlee {Senior Photography}

Woah.  I have very few words when it comes to this sweet girl.  She is beyond her years and has lived such an amazing life of love and adventure already!  After living in India, it was obvious she has found her flair and love of color straight from the culture there!  Just look at that FABULOUS hair!  She’s considering a field in Special Needs education and definitely has the personality and patience for it.  I can’t wait to see what things this brilliant and talented girl will go on to do!  We traipsed all over East Tennessee for Karlee’s Session, starting early in the morning up in Cades Cove and then finishing up a couple days later at the Forks of the River in the stunning sunflower fields.  Ahhh, just take a look!

Little Miss Adley {Birthday Sessions}

Miss Adley just finished up her Baby’s First Year program with a SMASH!  We loved watching her big smiles as she went through each milestone.  I can’t believe how big she’s grown and how much PERSONALITY she has!  We went to the Knoxville Zoo this summer with her big sister and there is even more cuteness to be shared from that session later!  But first, check out this little diva, I think she liked her cake from Magpies as much as we love her!

Meet Gordon! {Knoxville Baby Photography}

Last week I had the very special pleasure of meeting Gordo!  I have been looking forward to meeting him for awhile and I even got teaser images texted to me from his mom before I actually met him for the first time!  Yes, he’s even cuter in person than he is in these photos!  Gordon’s parents are super special to me since I got to spend their very amazing wedding day with them in Kiawah Island a couple years ago!  It’s always fun to have past couple bring their newest additions to me to photograph!  I LOVE it!  Although, this little family lives in Boston..for now..I know quite a few people are trying to steal them away and get them back down south as soon as possible!  😉  So, without further ado, meet Gordon!
