Gallery Wrap Sale!

We’re running a month long sale on all Gallery Wrap canvases starting today, July 16th until Saturday, August 15th. Have a past session you’ve been waiting to order from? Go ahead and place you’re order soon for free Gallery Wrapping on your canvas enlargement — that’s a $150 savings! This offer is applicable to all available canvas sizes, and there is no quantity limit  {think Wall Collection…}  Have you been wanting to come in for a session? Call us to book your session soon and you’ll have time to place your order before the sale runs out.

All pieces are printed directly on a fine art canvas and gallery wrapped on a 1 1/2″ stretched frame and ready to hang as they come. This larger sized stretcher frame makes a good sturdy piece that looks amazing on the wall! The little cutie hanging on our wall in this photo is a 24×30, and I swear the color is actually much better in person but the lights in the room really made the colors go wonky for these photos. I took shots from several angles so you could get an idea of just how amazing these look and I also wanted to show the luxurious canvas texture.  Want a better look? Stop by our studio any time during business hours and take a peek at the real deal hanging on our walls!

Call 865-357-5800 today to place your order, or schedule your ordering session to come in and let us help you choose a piece for your home.

What to Wear Wednesday: Baby Girls

First, I must say just how fun this week’s What to Wear has been for me! It is seeping with all kinds of baby girl goodness, and this has been a treat for me to put together (although there may have been a client in the studio this morning listening to me complain about just saying how late I stayed up last night putting this together 🙂 )  Hope you like to read about this kind of thing, because I have much to say!

ok, so I know just how tempting it is to bring several frilly dresses to sport your new doll in and photograph her in all of them, but rather than that let’s do something a little bit different. Bring one dress (or bring several and we’ll help you choose one at the studio) and lots of accessories so that we can have a good range to choose from.  Now don’t get me wrong, you know just how much I love the girl clothes, but for baby portraits I’m all about capturing their purity and innocence.  And that is usually best captured when showing some skin.  Having said that, let’s add some thought to it.  Imagine putting a nine month old chunky monkey in that pink striped hat with a solid diaper cover holding a little pink/green painted wooden toy and sitting on the white background. Or a newborn wearing nothing but one of those pink hats with the large flower and laying in a beautiful cream colored basket (we have tons of baskets, by the way.  I can’t stop buying them!)   Or your six month old in a solid onesie (or maybe it might say something cute like ‘Made with Love’ or something like that) and holding nothing but that tree teething ring sitting while sitting in natural window light.  We want your portraits to be simple and perfect, just like your baby.

I wanted to make sure that I really showed a good number of accessories here, because our Baby’s First Year clients will come in for four separate sessions during their first year.  And we want each session to be unique in it’s own way. So bring a bunch, and we’ll work with you to choose the right pieces for your sweet angel.

And, by the way, every single piece here is from Etsy.  I can’t get enough you know!  Stop by next week when it will be all about the Baby Boys — and oh boy, is it awesome!  I’ll also step away from Etsy (though not completely) to show you some more cool baby clothes/toys sites to peruse.

The Stephenson Sisters

Love these girls, they are always so fun to photograph. It doesn’t hurt that they are beautiful too! Big sister is moving across country, and I wish her all the best! I know her mom will miss her, but she will have her little granddaughter, Ava, to keep her busy. 🙂 Best of luck!!

And Baby Makes Three

This little princess was so sweet to photograph. She had great expressions and big brother and big sister simply adore her! Mom took our advice and shopped on our new favorite website, Etsy. Love, love, love the headband!

What to Wear Wednesday

This week I thought I’d just do the kids, since we do so many ‘kid only’ sessions.  And ok, I’ll admit it that usually I go off of the cutest girl outfits and base the boys around it.  Maybe it’s because I have a girl, but I just can’t help myself! Coming soon, I’ll do a What to Wear: Brothers Only.  Promise.  For the next two weeks it’ll be all about the babies though. Come back for the cutest, funkiest baby finds out there!

Sister: Outfit by Pretty Me Shop at Etsy, I’m linking her whole shop because I love every single piece! Sandles from Children’s Place
Big Brother: Shirt from Small Concept, Jeans from GapKids, Shoes from GapKids, I also think this would look great (probably even better) with a bright colored tee to match Sis underneath this shirt unbuttoned
Baby Brother: Onepiece from GapKids, Shoes from GapKids
