We truly want you to feel at home here at Memories, and with our re-decorating we have strived to make it feel warm and inviting for everyone – moms, dads, and kids alike. One very important factor in re-designing our walls was to incorporate as many Portrait Collections as possible. I think it’s important to note that our ceilings are only nine feet tall, so these collections are made to fit and look great in any home. I also have listed all of the single print sizes so that you can get a good perspective of dimension. So, with all of that said, come on in, we’d love for you to see the place!
Starting out, this is our Waiting Area showcasing the Lindsey and Jenny Collections, and a 20×24 Painted Watercolor in the corner. The bookcase holds some of our specialty products — Greeting Cards, Portrait Jewelry and Purses and Custom Printed Books.
This is the other half of the Waiting Area with Heather’s desk. On display is the Lexi Collection, and on the far wall are two Gallery Wrapped Canvases 24×30 and 16×20. And, if you look closely, you can see two Memories Chic storyboards on the framing table…
So, I know you normally wouldn’t see the bathroom on a photo tour, but we love our bathroom! We commissioned local artist, Michelle Eargle, to paint quotes around the top border. It really is waaay cute, and worth a trip to the studio just to see it. You can see one of my favorite 10×20 prints here in our Shabby Chic Framing. The cutie pie girl in the mirror reflection is a 20×24 canvas, and the Wonder Dream Hope piece holds three 8×8 prints.
The Playroom is next and is very near and dear to my heart. Our vision was to make this into a child’s dream. A place where the kids can go in and feel completely comfortable, and, let me tell you, that most kids could play all day in here while Mommy is making her decisions! We have filled it to the brim with toys, and of course the Disney channel is always a plus! Michelle also painted some whimsical doodles randomly on the walls, for just the perfect touch. On display is the Nursery Art Collection (nine 8×10’s). We created this collection especially for our Shabby Chic framing, and it is our only collection where the framing is included with the price. We seriously love it!! On the far wall, we have an 11×14 print along with a supersweet 12×12 Memories Chic canvas storyboard.
Up next is my Office / Sales Room. And since this photo was taken, we have added two new Wall Collections to this room, so we will be updating this image soon. But for now you can see the 30×40 canvas (in it’s place now is the Tyler Collection, and the Leah Collection is now on the opposing wall ), the prints on the ledge are 8×8’s, and the collage piece is made up of nine 4×4 prints.
And, here is the Studio… where all the magic happens, lol! I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful place to photograph. I do all of my indoor sessions here, and love that it is so versatile. We go from high key to low key to window light in just moments. And because I keep everything permanently setup, this allows our session times to be quicker and keep the kids in a great mood!
