Anna Grace {Squish & Baby’s First Year}

Hello all!

If you’re expecting a precious baby and looking for photography options, look no further than Memories Portraits! We offer Squish Sessions for newborns, as well as our Baby’s First Year Program. Below is a perfect example of a sweet baby girl starting with a squish session and having us document all of her milestones at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months old with our Baby’s First Year program!

Miss Anna Grace is one of our latest baby models to participate and oh my goodness are her sessions adorable! Miss Anna Grace first came to see us May 2018 for her Squish Session. We started with some family shots with Anna Grace along with Mom, Dad, and her two sisters. We then moved into more traditional squish poses.

Miss Anna Grace came back in to see us at 3 months old to begin her Baby’s First Year Program with us! She was so good starting to lean up on her own. Propping her up on a mound of floral blankets, Anna Grace was such a strong girl keeping her head up and giving us lots of smiles throughout the session. That is until we went outside and Miss Anna Grace had too much to discover to be bothered with smiling for the camera. Haha but it’s pretty adorable.

Miss Anna Grace came back for her 6 month photos as a part of our Baby’s First Year program. She was enjoying loving on her sisters and the awesome fall weather. Not to mention we got some adorable bare bum shots in studio! She is just so cute and such a solid sitter!!

Then at 9 months old, Miss Anna Grace came to see us again! This sweet keeps getting bigger and we can’t get over it. We did a lot of fun shots in the portrait studio. First she was showing off her new standing skills on our white ladder. Then we did some themed shots. One was her bare chested in a cute knit lions mane hat. The other she was on a blue backdrop and fuzzy blanket as she was bare chested wearing a blue tutu and strands of pearls. We also got a couple pictures of her in a nearby park sitting in our wood chair.

In May of this year we got to celebrate Miss Anna Grace’s first birthday with her 12 months pictures. We had bunnies in studio for Easter sessions so of course we added them in to her Baby’s First Year Pictures. She played with our bunnies, Flopsy and Mopsy, and even shared some of the playtime with her two older sisters. We did a few shots outdoors with our patchwork chair and then came back in the studio to play with balloons. What birthday would be complete without cake?! That is why we include a smash cake with every 12 month session of the Baby’s First Year program.

We hope the cuteness brought to you by Miss Anna Grace convinced you to consider participating in our Baby’s First Year Program . Since Miss Anan Grace completed her Baby’s First Year program, we will also be giving her a framed piece with one image from each of her sessions. What more could you want?!

Ava and Amelia {Easter Mini Session}

Just in time for Easter, Ava and Amelia joined us for our Spring Mini Session. These sisters showed up in dresses with matching patterns and sweet, pink bows in their hair. These two cuties got to hang out with all of our furry. Flopsy, Mopsy and Steve made friends with the sisters.

Steve, our sweet lamb, started off Ava and Amelia’s Spring Mini Session. As you can see, the girls had some very interesting things in their Easter baskets and Steve just had to investigate. They spent the rest of their time laying in the grass with Steve. Aren’t they just so cute?!

Next up was Flopsy and Mopsy’s turn to play with Ava and Amelia. They toted the bunnies around in their multiple pastel colored, Easter baskets. We can’t be sure but we have a distinct feeling Flopsy might be in love with one of the sisters. Can you guess which one?! This session has too many adorable pictures to chose a favorite. We dare you to try and pick to a few.

During the session we couldn’t resist taking individual portraits of the sisters, Ava and Amelia. By the end of the session they both ditched the bows. And rightfully so, you want to be as comfortable as possible being cute and playing with new furry friends all day. It’s a tough life being kid and animal models. We don’t know that for sure, we can only imagine 😉

Lincoln {Bunnies 2019}

Sweet Lincoln visited us and our baby bunnies, Flopsy and Mopsy, for an adorable Spring Mini Session earlier this month. Lincoln looks like a dapper little man in his bowtie, button down and rolled up blue jeans. We are dying over his golden locks! And not even to mention his denim tennis shoes. Uhhhh isn’t he such a cutie?!

Flopsy and Mopsy hung out in Mr. Lincoln’s pastel green, woven Easter basket as they all enjoyed the beautiful spring day and all the luscious, green grass. Our fuzzy little friends also loved Lincoln towing them in our sweet little wagon. It is the perfect size for little bunnies!

At the end of the session, Lincoln ditched the bow-tie and loosened his button down. This freed him up to hang out on our wood chair and then roll around in the grass with Flopsy and Mopsy. How cute is this session?!

If this session doesn’t have you ready for Easter nothing will! Keep scrolling!

Lilly Rose {Easter Mini Session}

Earlier this month, sweet Lilly Rose came to see us for a sweet Easter mini session! Not only did she get to hang out with the baby bunnies, Flopsy and Mopsy, but Steve, our sweet lamb friend, joined in on the spring mini session fun!

Lilly Rose looked so cute with her pink bows in her hair and on her feet with a sweet, blue dress with pink stitching to match. We just can’t believe Miss Lilly Rose will be 2 years old in August! Time really does fly. Just like our sweet furry friends, we wish they all could stay this little forever! But since they can’t and don’t stay this small, that is why we love what we do! In our opinion, documenting these sweet milestones especially early on is so necessary.

Lilly Rose hung out in the grass and on a quilt while Steve enjoyed some yummy hay. These two both had so much energy, let me tell you. They wanted to run around and explore all that nature had to offer but we ended up getting some adorable shots of them together.

Flopsy and Mopsy spent time with Miss Lilly Rose on the quilt in the grass. They wanted to enjoy time in her sweet pink Easter Basket while Lilly was enticing her two furry friends with flowers and carrots to go off on an adventure with her. How cute?! Being the daughter of a local wedding florist, of course Lilly Rose took time to smell the flowers. I am telling you this kid is such a mess and we love every minute of it! We just can’t decide which picture is our favorite!

Keep scrolling for all the cuteness we capture between Lilly Rose and her new furry friends. Although Lilly Rose, Flopsy, Mopsy and Steve won’t stay this small for long we loved capturing this sweet season of all of their lives.

Emmett {1st Birthday with Bunnies!}

Happy 1st Birthday, Emmett! This handsome boy became a 1 year old last month and we are so thrilled his family chose to share it with us! Mom and Dad brought along big brother, Everett, and we got some sweet shots of the whole family together. We walked through the green grass and blooming dogwood trees in Sequoyah Hills, swinging the boys into the air and laughing the whole way.

Luckily for Emmett and big brother, Everett, this birthday session landed just in time for bunnies! These sweet boys loved on our baby bunnies, Flopsy and Mopsy, outside in the grass. We got so fortunate with the weather. The sun was shining and nature was just starting to bloom all around us.  The bunnies actually thought big brother, Everett, was a jungle gym! I’m not sure which of the boys enjoyed their time with Flopsy and Mopsy more? I mean how cute are these photos?! Between the basket rides, wagon pulls, chair sits and grass snuggles these four had such a blast!

To complete this birthday session we went back into our studio for the final birthday portraits. We did some adorable pictures of Emmett in his cute 1st birthday embroidered t-shirt with some bright and colorful balloons tied on our white big boy, rocking chair. We then got to the best part…which is of course CAKE! Emmett had such a fun time diving into his smash cake and we had just as much fun watching him!

We just had the best day with this sweet family! We got to celebrate Emmett with family, bunnies and cake! What more could this little man want or need? We are so thankful to be a part of this perfect little family’s journey. Keep scrolling for the all the cuteness you’ve been reading about!
