We had been looking forward to little Pilot’s visit for a while, and were so glad to get the call that he had arrived (or should we say ‘landed’, lol!) We love his name just as much as we love his family, and thoroughly enjoyed photographing him — little fella did awesome for his first portrait session!!

Did you think we’d disappeared?! It’s been forever since we’ve posted on here, and that certainly was not intentional… we’ve just been incredibly busy and had to let the blog go for a few weeks. We’re certainly hoping that we’re on top again and ready for a little bit of normalcy (is there really such a thing?!).
Little Miss Adisyn came in the other day for her Squish session and we just loved playing with her. She was the sweetest little thing, and even gave us a few smiles. She came along with the best mama and grandma too… excellent session, we loved every minute of it!!

Introducing Adeline Rose
Adeline came into the studio for her Squish session this week at just over a week old, and sweet as could be. After mommy filled her tummy, she was the sleepiest little angel and so very easy to work with. She even let us try out a couple of new props that we simply adore… we could not love this session one single bit more, darling girl!

I had such a wonderful time photographing little Addie this weekend, her momma is my cousin and it was so wonderful to spend the day with family. I can honestly say that she was the sleepiest baby I have ever worked with, this girl was a total dream… and who doesn’t love it when a nine-day-old newborn flashes a smile that big??! She is also the first baby to wear the new hat I knitted while at home sick a couple of weeks ago. All in all, What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Alright guys, here it is, my first experience photographing a birth… and I owe a huge thanks to Liz and Seth for letting me in on their amazing day! Liz is so beautiful and the entire family was so, so gracious, I could not have asked for more. All of this to say, as much as I’m talking about myself here, that is not what this day was about… this day was truly about just being there with my camera and this family during their most special day… documenting the first journey of sweet Anna Kate. It was a true miracle to witness this precious girl enter the world… amazing family, amazing girl! You guys are the best
