And, there’s been a new addition to the family since then… little brother Andrew just turned one and decided it was time to get his portraits made too! Love, love, love this family! I have been photographing them since their oldest, Ella, was a newborn, and I feel so blessed that they have continued to return year after year. Mom and Dad do such a great job embracing each girl’s unique personality… and they really shined this weekend. Excellent, excellent job Wilds’ gang!

As soon as my mother-in-law brought this old tricycle over to my house, I knew I would be using it for something special. It belonged to my husband when he was a toddler. Soooo, for Lexi’s third birthday session last week, I bought a dozen balloons and had Nancy go to town photographing Lexi with her daddy’s favorite old toy. This was, by far, the most fun session we’ve ever done with her! And before you ask, I bought her dress at Target (for $11 — what a steal!)… the top was plain though, and quite boring compared to the cute, cute bottom… so I hired one of our newest clients Julia of Elise Claire Designs to cutify the top (I’m pretty sure I just made that word up, LOL!)

The result of it all… pure L-O-V-E. Today is my girl’s third birthday, and I think we shall go play and enjoy THREE!
