Let me just say how much I enjoyed this session! Emma’s mommy wasn’t too sure on having her birth photographed, so we decided to do a Fresh 48 (where mommy gets to freshen up and we photograph her with baby while they’re still in the hospital together). I came to the hospital the day after little Emma was born and photographed her family interacting with one another. They were so sweet and I loved being there when big sister met her for the first time. Beautiful!

It was time for little Aaron’s third session of his Baby’s First Year Program and we were thrilled that big brother Michael came along with him. These boys are so fun-loving and easy to photograph. And we were so thankful for this great weather that we were able to pop outside for a minute and get some adorable shots with some green! Great, great session, boys!!

Baby Abby was our last session of 2011 and was the perfect way to end our year. We loved her Squish session so much, we were thrilled when she started her Baby’s First Year Program.  And maybe we should mention that she’s about to go on a huge wall display at Lisa Ross Birth Center!!  She was such a happy girl, it was no problem getting smiles out of this one! I’d call this a fabulous ending to a fabulous year!!

We could hardly believe that it was time for little man Connor to finish up his Baby’s First Year Program, but it was fun to finish with a bang. In honor of his birthday, we treated him to a Magpie’s mini cake — um, btw, have we mentioned that we do that for our first birthday-ers now??! He loved it, and we had fun getting a new Christmas image of him — look how tiny he was last year! My how time flies…
