When Baya came in for her third session of her Baby’s First Year Program, I was reminded just how well this girl goes with the flow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her get even a tiny bit upset. Her sweet disposition certainly brightened our Saturday… thank you Baya, for being your normal happy self!

When Miss Emma came into the studio to start her Baby’s First Year Program this week, the Sugar & Spice phrase came to mind. Her sweet mommy brought hair accessories galore, and we were loving it… how could you not when you’re blessed with a nearly 3 month old sweetheart with a head FULL of hair?! Such a great start to Emma’s first year, and it’ll be so much fun to have her back to be photographed with our live baby bunnies this Easter!

Baby Album Goodness | Knoxville Portraits
STUDIO NEWS: I announced this a couple of weeks ago on facebook, but never posted here that the studio is changing to a By Appointment Only Schedule for a while. Basically, I’m here most of the time, but I am all by my lonesome quite a bit these days. So, if I have an errand to run, or need to get my daughter to a doctor’s appt or the roads are icy… I just may not be here. So, please call me if you’re planning on coming by and I’ll gladly be here for you! Thanks so much to you all for understanding, and for everyone’s support of us even though we’ve changed things at the studio lately. I don’t think I’ve said it enough, just how much we truly appreciate all of our wonderful clients… you guys are the BEST!!
OK, now onto the good stuff… I have been wanting to show these books off for several months now and just haven’t had the time to make it happen. So, last week when we were snowed in for days on end, I made it a point to photograph these beauties so that I finally could post them! There are two separate types of books that I have to show off and one very special deal (so keep reading!).
Up first is our Squish Album. This has been my most-requested product to add to our View Our Products page, and I’m so glad for everyone to be able to view it now! This 20-page 5×5 album is included with every Squish Session, with the option to upgrade in size. I do believe I have more fun creating Squish Albums than any other product, they are just so darn cute! These truly are a delight to present to our new mommy’s on pick-up day, and I love watching them flip through it for the very first time.

And this is our Baby’s First Year Album. We have considered adding this product to our menu for quite a while now, and finally made that happen this past year and we couldn’t be more pleased! I have ordered alot of custom books in my time, but I have NEVER seen this quality and craftsmanship poured into a single album before. I wish that my living room photography could do it justice (remember, we are people photographers, not product photographers), but it simply cannot. Together, you and I will choose 8-12 images from each of your four Baby’s First Year sessions to be included in this 24-page 8×8 Art Album. This truly is a piece of art, and I am so, so, so excited to now offer this product! And here is where the deal comes in — from now until March 31st, Memories is offering our Baby’s First Year Album at $100 off before taking it to full price! This book will retail for $595, but we are offering an introductory price (wow, I sound like a tv commercial, lol!) of only $495. Dad’s, this would make an excellent Valentine’s Day gift or Mother’s Day gift (hint, hint)! Custom books have a normal 4 week turnaround time — but anyone who orders this for Valentine’s Day before January 29th will be promised delivery before the big day!! I can’t wait to create your album of your growing girl or boy.

Blake & Wesley | Knoxville Photographer
Our favorite twin brothers, Blake & Wesley welcomed us back to work this past weekend with an adorable session! They are growing up to be such handsome boys and were decked out in their finest, as usual. Great job, fellas, we loved having you here!

Big Man Parker | Knoxville Baby Photographer
Before I start talking about this adorable session that we had last weekend, I need to let everyone know that we are back at it!! I’ve been facebooking much more than I’ve been blogging (obviously!), and a couple of weeks ago I announced that Nancy’s first day back would be this past Saturday and immediately received about 5 phone calls and several more fb messages from mom’s who’ve been patiently waiting for the news. Nancy will be working Saturdays only for a few weeks, building up to a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday schedule. If you are in need of a session, call me and I’ll get you on the books asap!
On to Mr. Parker-man… he was our very first session after a month long hiatus and a welcome sight! He is such a sweet fella and we just adore his mommy! Couldn’t have gone better — thanks so much Parker for helping us get our feet wet from the longest break in sessions that I think we’ve ever had!!

It’s Baby Time!!
Hey there, guys, sorry for the lack of blogging. It’s been one crazy week here!! Nancy has been in the hospital since Monday, and while we were hoping the boys could wait another week, it seems they cannot. She will be delivering via c-section in about 15 minutes. I’m posting updates on our Facebook fan page… just search for Memories Portraits to keep in the know today. Thank you all for your prayers, her triplet boys are just 33 weeks and our only goal is healthy mom and babies.
Blessings to you all!

The Starnes Boys | Knoxville Photographer
Wow, mom and dad, great job on these boys! They were so polite, and willing to do whatever we asked… we could not have asked for more. Mom is also being rewarded for having extra patience with us this week, as we have been s-w-a-m-p-e-d… your gallery is up a day early. Enjoy!!

An Extra Share | Knoxville Photographer
I usually don’t blog a session more than once, but I’m working late at the studio tonight getting caught up (Christmas is officially here!) and I though I should make an exception. I’ve been editing images for sweet Alexandra’s gallery and just had to share a few more. As usual, Knoxville has the craziest weather, and we had to fight quite a bit of it on this day but were so glad the rain and wind held out just long enough to get some priceless images! Enjoy your gallery, Susan!!

Miss Mabry | Knoxville Photographer
Someone please tell me how we let little Miss Mabry slip between our cracks?! Her sweet mama has been waiting two whole days for this post, but we have rewarded her with an early gallery posting.
Thankfully, they are as kind and easy going as it goes… which means all the world to us during this busy, busy season. Mabry was such a sweetheart for her second session of her Baby’s First Year Program, and we thoroughly enjoyed her entire family coming into the studio for her session… these guys are just pure joy! Thanks for your patience, Stephanie, you’re the best!!

Senior | Knoxville Photographer
This cool guy came into the studio for his senior portrait session this week… at just 15, he’ll be graduating early! Congratulations, and a great, great job!!
