Remember this post? I just got the call that it’s going live next week (sorry Knoxville, it’s only airing in London). And our shot is on their promo page! Just in case they change it, I did a screen capture so that you all could see it

After we get the dvd, I’ll make sure to upload a little clip here. Unless I look ridiculous, in which case, I will bury it and it won’t ever see the light of day, lol! All I can say is thank God they aren’t airing this here!

Simply Said…
Heather here popping in again to share another favorite new product of mine. This book started out as a custom piece for a client and has become one of my favorite pieces to date. And since Nancy and I are so in love with the way this has turned out, we have decided to make this into its very own product line.
Introducing Simply Said…
You choose your favorite 11 images from your session and 9 favorite quotes or poems, and I will create a personalized book for you. These books measure 8×8 and are the perfect gift giving size. The pages are UV coated for protection and hinged for easy opening, and the cover is a gorgeous metallic finish. I could see many, many grandparents getting some spectacular gifts this year, and Father’s Day is just right around the corner…

Be sure to drop by the studio to see this beauty in person (as well as our fabulous new framing!)
and, by the way, if you were wondering… I’m not giving away any surprises here. This is another book that I put together so that we could have a studio sample. I used two other equally adorable girls so that I could show it off now. The recipient for the original Simply Said will be none the wiser until Daddy’s Day!

Meet Kaden
This little cutie did a great job for his second session of his Baby’s First Year Program. He has big shoes to fill to keep up with his big sister Kennedy, but I think this session proves he’s up for the challenge. Beautiful boy! Mom is also our model for our Baby’s First Year mailer, love this family!

Party of Five
Finally, a Saturday that I could actually shoot outside and not be rained out! Michael Norris, of Deep River Wellness Center came in this morning with his beautiful family for an outdoor portrait session. For those of you who know me, know that my husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past year or so and Michael is my acupuncturist whom I see weekly. Who doesn’t love being poked with needles regularly, lol! Their miracle daughter, Joy, did a great job and she’s such a little talker. Adorable!

FAB-ulous!!!
Hey guys, Heather here popping in to share some new goodies with you! Nancy has taken a couple of days off to prepare for Michelle’s graduation, and I have been here stalking our UPS guy anxiously awaiting this delivery. And let me just show you what I have gotten into today. It started out with this:

And all of that turned into this:

**Edited to add**: we’ve had so many calls about these frames this week, I thought I’d answer the big question here because I know many more of you are wondering about the frame sizes. I realize it’s difficult to tell the scale of these prints since I only propped them against the wall for the photos. The 2 pink/green frames are 10×20, the blue/brown (sitting on ledge 2 photos down) and blue/green frames are 8×8, the blue/pink and green/pink frames are 11×14, and the brown/blue frame is a 12×12. These frames are available beginning at 8×8 and go up in size from there, they are custom made so nearly anything is possible. I just love the chunkyness (is that a real word, lol!) of them because it gives even small prints a real presence in the room, and I think they would look even cuter hanging with a ribbon from a pretty glass knob on the wall. I must also say just how thrilled I am with the response we’ve had since posting these up only a couple of days ago! We’ve got most of these hanging now and will post more pics asap, but please stop by the studio to check them out in person. You won’t be disappointed!

Aren’t these frames fabulous?!! They are brand new to our studio, and I am in love. I’m so glad I ordered two of these beauties for my own daughter’s room, and now I wish I had ordered 1 more. These frames are custom made, so that you can have any size in any color combo. I l-o-v-e the storyboard frame with the simple quote, I definitely see me making many more of those. What a great gift for your child! We also have created a new collection with these frames. Picture it: Nine 8×10’s in rows 3 high and 3 wide filled with your child’s portraits. How cute would that be in any nursery?! I cannot wait to get these hung so that we can get better photos to show you. I took several detail shots so that you can see how these frames are so well made. I love the light distress they apply to these! Can you tell I’m a bit excited, lol!
And, look what else arrived in those boxes:

These are all for one lucky mom, and I believe a lucky grandparent or two who are getting one amazing gift! We have carried these frames for a while now, but haven’t ever shown them off on the blog before and I think they are just so beautiful. There are so many quotes and colors to choose from, the possibilities are endless. Each frame is custom made for you so that you get exactly what you want!
Well, I hope you are all having as fabulous a day as I am! Now, I’m off to unbox one more order that the FedEx man just delivered…

Happy Mother’s Day!
I just couldn’t let it pass without saying Happy Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful Mama’s out there. I hope your day is wonderful and spent with your beautiful kiddos, both big and small! You deserve the best!

Mr. Michael
This little fellow came in for photos with the bunnies as part of his Baby’s First Year Program, and ended up in hives. Poor fellow! Thankfully, once the bunnies left we managed to get some really cute images. What a trooper!

Meeee-chelle My Belle
I am so excited about these fabulous new graduation announcements! It just so happens that this beautiful girl is my youngest daughter, Michelle. I can’t believe how grown up she is. I am so proud of her, she wants to be a photographer just like her mum.
She has been working as my assistant photographer on several of our location sessions and she has a great artistic eye (if you don’t mind me bragging just a little…) In fact, she took the portrait of me for this blog. She is excited to start on this next chapter in her life and I simply adore her!

Little Miss Sunshine
This little sweetie was so fun to photograph and was all smiles. The blanket was her Mom’s when she was little and the adorable dress was from her Auntie. The black and white is totally my favorite!

Meet Miss Tatum
Grandma found me at the Tinsel and Treasure Show last October and was so excited to be able to bring in her little angel granddaughter, Tatum for our Small Details Session. I just love her big beautiful blue eyes!
