Hey guys! Long time, no post — I know. It’s been a wonderful (and extremely hectic!) Christmas season here at the studio, and I am so grateful to all of you for that! I wanted to make note of a few things around here, just in case anyone had questions.

First, as many of you already know, our lab, Memories Photographics has closed. Yesterday was their last day of business, and I am very sad that this business has had to close it’s doors. I have truly enjoyed working closely with each of them and they will be missed greatly, but I also want to reassure all of you that this does not apply to my studio. Memories Portraits is not affected by this closing, and we are planning to stay in business for a long time coming! We are looking forward to an outstanding 2009, with some exciting changes coming to the studio (you’ll have to stay tuned for more on that…)

Secondly, the studio is closed for Christmas. We are officially on vacation and will re-open January 6. I am very much looking forward to some great family time to relax and recharge for the coming year.

And lastly, I will be having a couple January specials. If you know anyone who needs to update their professional head shots for work, my January special is just $95. It gives you the session and an image of your choice, retouched and then burned to cd to take with you the same day. Also, if you come in for a January Portrait session, I will give you a complimentary set of wallets (a $40 value)!

You know how sometimes when you meet someone, you just like them right away? That’s how I feel about these guys. I have been photographing them since the oldest was a baby! This is our first family session and I think they all look amazing! I just love these guys

This session was so much fun! The kids were great, Mom and Dad did awesome and even the dog Buddy was very well behaved! I just love how their session turned out.

These guys are so excited about their new baby due any time now! It will be fun to see what the puppies think of the new little one since they have been the baby’s of the house for the last several years. I can’t wait to meet their new little guy!

Little Ava was not feeling the greatest during the session but we still were able to capture several cute images. Mr. Tyler on the other hand was quit the little poser. These kids are so adorable. I really love their serious face. I look forward to them coming back when Ava feels better

This little guy has so much personality! What a little pumpkin! He is starting our Baby’s First Year Program and I can’t wait to watch him grow. I love how beautiful this family is!

I have always looked forward to photographing these guys! They have been coming for years. They are so well behaved…. Mom and Dad do pretty well too

There is still time to book your family Christmas portrait session.  Family portraits are a great gift for those hard-to-buy-for relatives, and turnaround time is quick.  Portrait orders are ready in about seven to ten days, and Christmas card orders only take a few days to complete.  Call 357-5800 to book your session!

Also, I have recently had some cancellations for the day after Thanksgiving.  This is a perfect opportunity to have a family portrait done with all of your out-of-town relatives, so don’t delay in calling to book your family session.

And, in honor of the out-of-towner’s, here’s a little gal who traveled up all the way from Florida.  I posted about this family a couple of weeks ago, and this is a 3 piece storyboard made with a few favorites from her session.

I have been photographing this family since Lilly was a baby, and I always look forward to them coming in. In fact, you probably recognize those gorgeous curly locks from my website. Little Jordan is quit the busy body, and so adorable! How could you ever get mad at that face? lol

So I haven’t seen these two for about a year… boy, have they grown! Miss Hannah, who is eight, could easily pass for twelve. And little Weston, who by the way is NOT so little, is already over two! Such a little poser he is, totally hamming it up for the camera! I love these kids!
